TB Joshua's boy Onazi Signs New Deal at Lazio for €700,000

Ogenyi Onazi, who was inspired by Prophet TB Joshua and started his professional career in My People, a club founded by the popular prophet, has signed a new improved 4-year deal at Italian Club SS Lazio.

He signed the new deal on Monday. The Super Eagles midfielder, whose impressive performances at the last FIFA World Cup is believed to have contributed to the new deal, is expected to earn €700,000 per season (from his previous fee of €350,000) according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Man allegedly rapes 20yr old girl and uploads her nude pics online

The Lagos state Police command has arrested 30 year old Olaniyan Oluwakayode (pictured above) after he allegedly raped a 20 year old girl at his apartment in the Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos on Tuesday September 16th and then allegedly posted nude pics of the girl online.

According to Vanguard, Olaniyan, a native of Osun state, claimed the rape victim who hails from Akwa Ibom state was his girlfriend but the girl denied this, claiming that he was a random guy who had asked her out but she refused.

  Hello Laila and TILB readers, please, why do women/girls show off their cleavage, leave the top button on their blouses unbuttoned, then complain when guys look "there"? I recently heard a young lady, here in Portharcourt, narrate how she angrily had to slap a guy back into 'reality' all because he was really staring at her cleavage.

    In times of old, showing off the female cleavage was discouraged and men were expected to avert their gaze at the chest area altogether. But these days, women wear such low cut blouses and dresses that it seems like an invitation to have a good look. Woman Arrested for Stripping Friend Naked in Public

A 23-year old woman, Joy Okafor has been arrested by the police for ripping off the cloths of her friend Ruth Genesis in public over a N5, 000 debt.

According to PMNews, the incident happened along Isolo road, Ikotun Lagos state where both reside. She was charged before Ejigbo Magistrate’s court with conduct likely to cause breach of public peace under the Criminal Code.

Joy said she borrowed Ruth the money which she used to buy cloth and shoe with a promise to repay at a later date. But trouble started when Joy demanded her money back and Ruth refused to pay the money. According to Joy, “she reneged on the initial agreement they had and began giving flimsy excuses”.She said she decided to forcefully take off her cloth and shoe because she knew Ruth used her money to buy them.

Joy targeted Ruth when she wore the cloth and shoe to attend a function and ordered her to take them out in public. When Ruth refused, she grabbed her and bit her breast and forced her into submission. She then pulled the cloth and the shoe and went away leaving Ruth naked.

The police at Ikotun division intervened and arrested Joy for the assault and charged her to court. When she was arraigned, she pleaded not guilty on the two count charge. The presiding Magistrate, Mrs M.B. Folami granted her in the sum of N10, 000 with one surety in like sum. The matter was adjourned for settlement

Keshi Ranked Africa’s Best Coach

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi, has been ranked the number one coach in Africa and 14th in the world.

The rankings by Football Coach World Ranking for September placed Keshi ahead of sacked Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah. Keshi moved up two places from last rankings despite not earning any point this month, while Appiah moved up one place to 32nd in the latest rankings.

The ranking of the top 50 coaches is dominated by managers who coached at the World Cup, with the top 15 almost exclusively for those who excelled at the World Cup with the exception of Spain’s Vicente Del Bosque who is placed second even though his side crashed in the group stage. World Cup-winning coach, Joachim Low of Germany, tops the ranking with Oscar Tabarez of Uruguay.

Ebola: Ogun Government Postpones Resumption Date of Schools to October

Abeokuta (NAN) – The Ogun Government on Friday in Abeokuta announced October 8 as the new resumption date for private and public schools in the state.

The Secretary to the state government (SSG), Taiwo Adeoluwa, announced the new date at a news conference.

Adeoluwa said the development followed an evaluation meeting between representatives of the government and stakeholders in the education sector held on Friday.

The SSG said that the government was anxious to open schools on Sept. 22 in line with Federal Government’s directive, but the level of preparation in some of the schools were not satisfactory.

Adeoluwa, who said the state government had put measures in place to check any possible outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), explained that the level of preparations in some primary schools needed to be improved.

I’m Facing Hard Times ––TB Joshua Opens Up

Founder of Synagogue Church, Prophet TB Joshua, says he has been facing hard times since the collapse of his church guesthouse in Lagos. He has, however, said that he would survive the trying times.

A six-storey guesthouse belonging to the church collapsed last Friday, and as at the last count, about 80 persons have been confirmed dead with over 140 rescued alive.

TB Joshua has assured all who believe in his good works that would not be destroyed by the incident:

“Hard times may test me, they cannot destroy me,” TB Joshua said, adding, “To withstand hard times, stand with Christ. When you face trials, hard times, you can count it all joy if you add faith.”
