Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has explained why he has not been
attending the campaigns of the All Progressives Congress, APC,
presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.
Atiku, in an interview with BBC Hausa, in the early hours of Friday, said he had not been invited to the APC presidential campaign rallies.
Atiku said he had informed the director of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Rotimi Amaechi, about the issue: “I told him that if he did not invite me, I will not go.”
He said, “There are minor irregularities in connection with the system being followed by the campaign team of General Buhari but we are trying to correct it. They need to check the strategy they are adopting.

He insisted that he would not attend the campaign if not invited. The
former vice president was an aspirant in the presidential primaries in
which Buhari emerged the winner.
