Okada Man in Niger State Absconds With Passenger's Bag Containing N230,000

A yet to be identified commercial motocyclist known as Okada man betrayed his regular customer and absconded with her "Ghana Must Go" bag containing a sum of N230,000 at Madalla, Niger State.

 
According to a member of the vilgilante group who spoke to a DailyTrust reporter, an unknown commercial motorcylist popularly called "Okada man" ran away with a “Ghana must go” bag said to have contained N230,000 belonging to a passenger at Madalla, Niger State.

According to the source, the incident took place after the unlucky woman took a motorcyle at Rafin-Senyi in Suleja to Madalla market. The motorcyclist happens to be her regular customer who picks her frequently on Thursdays. The woman in question runs a restaurant at Rafin-Senyi. She removed part of the money to pay for some items and left the bag with the cyclist who in no time disappeared into the crowd.
 
The woman was shocked when she couldn't locate the man, at first she didn't believe her eyes. She turned around incessantly raising alarm. This drew the attention of the members of the vigilante team who were patrolling the area.
 
Attempts were made to reach the culprit on phone but his mobile phone was switched off. The woman was reportedly taken to the Madalla police station where she made an official report of the case. Efforts are currently being made by the woman and the vigilante team to apprehend the Okada man through their union in Suleja.
