Heavy rain that lasted for more than seven hours has caused flooding in Kano city.
Heavy rain that lasted for more than seven hours earlier today, has
caused floods in parts of northern Nigeria's biggest city, Kano.
Several places, including the city's famous Kurmi market and several bus and taxi parks were flooded.
There are no reported deaths or heavy loss of properties, but many residents say it was one of the heaviest downpours in recent years.
