The mum-to-be is seen breathing through contractions and screaming in pain as she realises time is running out to make it to hospital.
Seconds later, she is seen delivering the baby herself in the passenger seat while the gobsmacked father looks on as they drive along the highway.
According to the clip caption, posted on YouTube, the birth in the car happened while the couple were travelling along Beltway 8 to the Bay Area Birthing Center.
After the baby is delivered, the man can be heard saying: "Spank him. He's breathing, if he's crying, he's breathing, but hold him upside down, babe. Hold him upside down and pat him on the booty."
The couple then celebrate with a high-five before the woman says in shock: "He came out right in the car! Oh my God. You're beautiful! Oh my goodness! What do I do?"
The man then jokes: "So I wonder if we still have to pay for using birth centre?"
