33-Year Old Man Rapes Mad Woman In Oshodi, Lagos

33 year old man docked for allegedly having carnal knowledge of a mentally deranged woman in the Oshodi area of Lagos.

 

A 33-year-old man named Itodo Stephen stands a clear chance of being sent to jail if found guilty of allegation of rape. He has been charged to court for reportedly having an indecent assault and unlawful carnal knowledge of a mentally deranged 20 year old woman in the Oshodi area of Lagos state.

The accused reportedly had sex with the woman at Alhaji Shehu Close, Oshodi, Lagos where Stephen lives with the victim’s parents. According to the prosecutor, Stephen pulled the pants of the woman, put his fingers in her private part after which he slept with her.

 

P.M news gathered the victim couldn't resist due to her poor mental state. The deed was done when her parents were away at work while Stephen stayed back at home.

Stephen was caught redhanded by a neighbour who raise alarm about the act. The case was reported to police at the Makinde Division of Oshodi which led to Stephen's arrest. Stephen admitted at the police station that he slept with her but according to him, what he did wasn't an act of rape.

While in court, Stephen pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him and the court granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.

The case was further adjourned for hearing.

Meanwhile, Stephen was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
