TB Joshua's vision on abducted school girls: "God said he will release them, security should take it easy”

Here is what Prophet T.B. Joshua said on Sunday 27th April 2014 concerning the over 100 school girls who are still being held by Boko haram in Borno State, Nigeria:

They have to be released. That is the voice of God. I saw a vision where some of these girls have escaped and they are trying to find their way from the forest to the town. In the midnight, some of these girls ran away. The ones that are still under their custody – God said He will release them. This is the voice of God. God has spoken – these children must be released. We can’t wait to see them. God has marked them that nothing should happen.

The family members of the abducted schoolgirls - your pain is our pain. I learnt many of the parents are in the bush. Please come back home. It is not your battle alone but the battle of all people of God all over the world. They are also our children.

The lady in the photo above was caught on Friday in a permanently sealed gutter around the Albati barracks of Ojuelegba in Lagos. She was screaming out for help from deep inside the gutter when a passer-by heard her scream. He tried to help her, but couldn’t because there was no way he could get into the gutter to help her out. The gutter his permanently sealed!

So, people are wondering how she got in there in the first place. They had to get a welder to cut one of the barricades of the gutter before she could be rescue. The woman suspected to be a witch, said in tears:

A Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor named Daryell Dickson Meneses Xavier was reportedly beaten and raped by 20 men after he was locked up for allegedly killing and possibly raping his girlfriend's 1year 11 months old son (pictured with him left) in Taguatinga, suburb of Brasilia, Brazil in Sept 2013.

According to local media, trouble started for the man after his girlfriend left him alone with her son. A few hours later, he called his girlfriend claiming the boy fell and was having seizures. The child was rushed to the hospital and died two days later. Doctors who didn't believe the boy fell called the police and told them they suspected foul play because the injuries on the boy wasn't consistent with a fall but with blunt trauma, and also said possible sexual abuse was involved.

A bus driver in Canada had a 'soul-touching' moment on Saturday when he watched as one selfless passenger gave his shoes and socks to a perfect stranger whose only footwear was a couple of plastic hairnets.

Bus driver Surjit Singh Virk - a 16-year veteran driver for the Coast Mountain Bus Co. in Vancouver - was off duty and returning from the Surrey B.C.’s Vaisakhi parade when he witnessed the random act of kindness. Singh Virk managed to snap a few photos of the exchange and shared them on social media.

'It made my heart melt,' he told QMI Agency, a Canadian media company. 'He just took his shoes and socks off and said, "You can take these, don't worry about me — I live close by and can walk."

It's not her fault but the policewoman should have complained when she was given this type of uniform.
There was outrage on social media following reports of a female policewoman reprimanded by her seniors over her dressing.

The corporal traffic police officer based at Kiambu police division Linda Okello was summoned by the local county commander James Mugeria and reprimanded over her dress code, which was termed as indecent.

Officials in Kiambu said the summoning was procedural and the officer had been allowed to go on with her duties.

When the father eventually continued to smoke without passing to his son, the toddler begins to cry and points to a fresh packet on the table which the dad picks up and lights for him.

Foremost producer, writer, director and a leading player in the Nigerian motion picture industry, Amaka Igwe has passed on. She died last night April 28th in Enugu after an asthma attack. Mrs Igwe had gone to Enugu in company of her husband for pre-production preparations for a new Igbo soap when the sad incident occurred.

She suffered an asthma attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital after initial intervention had failed but sadly died before getting there.

Mrs Igwe is survived by her husband of 21 years Charles Igwe, three children, an aged mother. So sad! May her soul rest in peace...amen.

This bizarre-looking baby was born in Charikot, the headquarters of Dolakha district, attracting a huge number of onlookers to witness the astonishing sight.

The neck-less baby with its head almost totally
sunk into the upper part of the body and with extraordinarily large eyeballs literally popping out of the eye-sockets, was born to Nir Bahadur Karki and Suntali Karki at the Gaurishnkar Hospital in Charikot. The Karki couple is a permanent resident of Dolakha's Bhirkot VDC.
The bizarre baby, however, died after half an hour of its birth, Suntali, the mother, informed. It was taken to the hospital after its death.

Unknown Gunmen kill 50 in fresh attack in Taraba

Residents of Gidan Aku community on the outskirts of Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State were struck by Unknown gunmen yesterday, killing no fewer than 50 people with many seriously injured.

According to reports, the men who stormed the area with sophisticated weapons allegedly came in from Nassarawa state and attacked the residents while they were sleeping. They set the whole place on fire forcing residents to flee into nearby bushes for safety.

An eyewitness and also a lawyer in the community, Luka Agbu said no security officer came to their rescue during the attack.

A son who had been away for years without contacting his family,finally came home.Unknown to him, his mother had died and didn't live in the compound ,probably because he wore dreads, a woman saw him, raised an alarm and he was lynched to dead

Tolulope Olajuwape, was beaten to death by residents of Fasanya Street near his father’s house after being wrongly accused of being a kidnapper.The elder sister of the deceased, Mrs. Oluwakemi Adesanya said that her brother had been away from Nigeria for many years.She said on the fateful day, the deceased had gone to the area to visit their mother, who he did not know was dead.

An unidentified woman was said to have raised a false alarm, after which Olajuwape was beaten to death.

World football governing body, FIFA, early this morning suspended its ban on Barcelona Football Club after the Spanish team lodged appeal against the ban.

According to a statement on FIFA official website, the Catalan club will now be able to sign players in the summer transfer window following their appeal against the punishment.

The Catalans were initially banned from signing players for the next two transfer windows for breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18. Based on this latest development, the suspension has now been put on hold until a final decision on their appeal has been taken.

Leader of the defunct Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, has described Jamāat Ahl as-Sunnah lid-dawa wal-Jihād, popularly known as Boko Haram, as a political movement set up to cow Christians in the northern part of Nigeria against voting for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general election.

Dokubo-Asari, who made the observation weekend in Port Harcourt at the 4th edition of the South South Youth Leaders and Elders interactive forum, said the key mission of Boko Haram was to instil fear in Christian communities in the northern part of the country, so that they cannot come out to queue up for Jonathan during the election.

The former Niger Delta militant leader said the President would have no choice other than to run for a second term even as he stressed that Boko Haram had nothing to do with Islam.

Writing in the Guardian Newspaper, Mr. Adigun alleged that the premises discovered last March was an abandoned sewage treatment plant converted to a camp for lunatics abducted from the streets of Ibadan by the Oyo State government as part of a campaign to beautify Ibadan.

Abuja bomb blast: Boko Haram leader tells Jonathan in new video, “We are in your city” [Watch]

Boko Haram militants have claimed responsibility for a deadly bomb attack on a bus station near Nigeria’s capital Abuja.

75 people were killed in the explosions that rocked the Nyanya bus terminal in the early hours of Monday.

“We are the ones that carried out the attack in Abuja,” the leader of the insurgents Abubakar Shekau says in the video.

He also indicated that Boko Haram has fighters based in Abuja.

“We are in your city,” he said, addressing Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan.

Rapper William Orioha, popularly known as 2shotz, and his wife Precious give an insight into the thrills of their 12-month-old marriage. They spoke with Punch about their love life and how it all started:

How long have you been married?
2shotz: We have been married for a year. We got married April 12, 2013.

How did you meet?
2shotz: I went to see her at a restaurant in Ajao Estate, Lagos. We had been talking on phone for a while before then. We ate, I went to drop her at home. Her family and friends knew who I was. Apparently, she did not know me until they started to hail me. Later, we went to a bar, had drinks there and we just clicked. It was not planned neither did I have it in mind that this was what I wanted to do. At that time, I was not trying to be in a relationship.

Precious: I met him on Twitter. I can’t remember who followed who first, but I remember he put up a picture of his apartment and I commented without knowing who he was. He thanked me and we got talking. We moved the conversation from Twitter to phone, then to Skype. I was in Ireland, came to Nigeria for Christmas and we met in person.

Helen, who was in the UK on tour to promote her belief in witchcraft and offer help to those ‘under threat’ from the wizardry, was not only deported, there are also reports that she has been banned from entering the UK until further notice.
