Peter McGraith and David Cabreza become husband and husband in a historic same-sex marriage ceremony in Islington, north London
Peter McGraith and David Cabreza, who have been partners for 17 years, were married in a midnight ceremony at Islington Town Hall, taking full advantage of Saturday's change in the law that allows homosexual couples to legally wed in England and Wales.

They became one of the first same-sex couples to marry, along with couples in Westminster, Brighton and Northampton, who also held midnight ceremonies.
Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, who acted as chief witness at the packed ceremony, welcomed the law change, stating: "Love triumphs over prejudice."
The newlyweds were greeted by huge cheers as they stepped outside the town hall, where they thanked wellwishers who had gathered to show support.
Mr Cabreza told reporters that the married couple were "very happy".
