Yoruba Actress Ronke Odusanya opens up on private affair

Stories of husband snatching are rampant in Nollywood and she is one of the actress caught in the web but Ronke Odusanya [aka Flakky Ididowo] has denied allegations of snatching another woman’s husband.

The Ogun State-born actress, who was once romantically linked with Fuji musician, Pasuma, has claimed that there is no truth whatsoever in the reports that she is married to a US-based man, Femi Anibaba.

Below is what she told City People about the saga in a recent chat:

"I am not married, neither am I engaged to anyone, as you can see, I am still very much single. I hope to get someone I will get married to. I am a friend to some guy whose wife has left 2 years

but unfortunately she went on the papers to say that I have snatched her husband. I really don’t know why and I don’t want to talk about it."

This is the 18 year old young man who was shot dead yesterday Dec. 23rd by a police officer at a gas station not far from where Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri. But the police say this is a totally different case because Antonio Martin had a gun and pointed it at 34yr old unnamed officer, who pulled out his own gun and shot three times, killing Antonio.

Army Colonel, 15 others Jailed over Chibok Girls’ abduction

The Nigerian Army has sentenced three officers and 15 other soldiers to two years’ imprisonment each over the April 14, 2014,   abduction of over 200 school girls from their hostel in Chibok town, Borno State, by agents of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.

Sadly, majority of the girls are still with the insurgents till date.

Hoodlums attack church,flog pastor & members,cart away offering

Hoodlums on Friday invaded the Christ Apostolic Church, Pillar of Fire, located at LA primary school area of Akure, the Ondo state capital, during service, destroying properties and carting away the day’s offering.
According to Punch,It was gathered that the attackers, armed with whips and other dangerous weapons, subjected the worshippers and presiding pastor, Pastor Arije, to severe flogging.
The reasons for the attack was not immediately known. Sources feared that a rival Pastor of one of the churches within the area may have sponsored the attack.

12-year-old boy accused of stealing flees home for weeks(Photo)

A 12-year-old boy in Lagos, Kingsley Peter, who was accused by his guardian of stealing a sum of N1, 000, has run away from home.

Punch Metro learnt that Peter, who was a primary six pupil of Alaguntan Primary School, Iyana Ipaja, ran away from home since the morning of Tuesday, November 25, and had since refused to return.It was gathered that the family reported the case to the Gowon Estate Police Division.

Peter was staying with his uncle, Mr. John Ubani, on Ogunbowale Street, Moshalashi in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos before the incident.It was learnt that Peter, an orphan, had been brought to Lagos by Ubani from the Obi Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State in 2011, and had been enrolled in school to continue with his education.
